1. General Sales Terms / Contract

These conditions apply to product sales by the SCEA ROBERT DOUGAN (La Pèira) as a result of orders via Internet or telephone. They are automatically made available to the purchaser on the Home page of the La Pèira Especiaria-de-la-Peira.com website.

The purchaser simply has to click on “Sales Conditions” to see the terms and conditions of purchase, even before launching the process of purchase.

The fact of placing an order, therefore, implies that the purchaser shall absolutely and without any conditions abide by these Terms to the exclusion of any other documents such as prospectuses and catalogues which may have been published by the seller and which are over-ridden by the present Terms.

The fact that the seller may not always exercise his right to enforce these conditions cannot be interpreted as a renunciation of his right to exercise one or all of them at anytime in the future.

Our offers are reserved exclusively for private clients, and do not apply to professional re-sellers.

2. Price

The SCEA ROBERT DOUGAN undertakes to honour the prices displayed on the Website subject to stock being available.

Prices are displayed in Euros (€). They include all Taxes, but not transport costs, unless with prior agreement (as with orders over transport for all orders over 300 Euros), and are subject to product availability.

Products delivered in Metropolitan France and Corsica : prices include French VAT and duty. Where delivered elsewhere in the European Community, the prices include French VAT and duty but do not take into account excise duty or other taxes that may be in force in certain countries and which may be claimed from the purchaser when delivered.

3. Transport & Delivery Charges

Basis of calculating delivery charges in Metropolitan France:
Transport and delivery charges vary according to quantity and destination. However, we cover the cost of transport for all orders over 300 Euros in France, and other territories included in the shipping list to a single address. with the exception of promotional offers (En Primeur offers).

Note: If you order some wines not in the En Primeur offer, as well as wines in the En Primeur offer, the transport tariff applicable is the Transport tariffs Vat included for the 2014 En Primeur offer (see section 5-2).

4. Type of Transport

By registered Colissimo post or by transporter.

1- 2014 TRANSPORT TARIFFS : INCLUDING ALL FRENCH TAXES BUT DO NOT APPLY TO PROMOTIONAL OFFERS (such as En Primeur).

Tariffs below do not apply for items other than wine available at the La Pèira Especiaria-de-la-Peira.com website. The tariffs below apply to all other categories.

6. Method and Time Scale of Delivery

The transporter will deliver to the address indicated by the client at the time of ordering (or to a nearby address notified to the transporter in case of the client’s absence).

Delivery times

Delivery times are normally 10 – 15 days in France, in exceptional cases 3 – 4 weeks.
We can often deliver within 3 – 5 days, particularly single bottles (old vintages)
Should you have special date requirements, please let us know the last date by which your wines must reach you. If we cannot meet a deadline we will contact you before despatch.
For deliveries to Corsica, we reserve the right to refuse your order or to charge extra depending on your order. You may then accept the surcharge which will have been notified (the wine will be despatched once the surcharge has been received) or you may cancel the order (in which case all sums received from you will be totally refunded). Delivery times to Corsica are longer than for the rest of France.

These delivery times do not apply to the sale and despatch of En Primeur wines.
For other destinations, please contact us.

Note: If you order some wines not in the En primeur offer, as well as wines in the En Primeur offer, all the wines will be delivered together in September 2014. To avoid this order place wines from these categories separately.
